About Joanna

Joanna believes birth is a transformation. It wasn't until she was pregnant that she made it her mission to educate herself and work hard for the birth experiences she wanted. It can be intimidating to navigate what seems like never-ending information and a confusing healthcare system but she and her husband were fortunate to have doulas by their side for the births of their children: an unmedicated birth in a hospital and a homebirth.

Joanna's yoga background inspired her to discover her passion serving pregnant clients and their families as a prenatal and postpartum yoga instructor and DONA trained and certified doula. She believes it is her responsibility to share her knowledge to help support and empower birthing persons and their families. 

In her spare time, Joanna enjoys yoga, cooking, getting crafty, and spending time with her family.
